About the Junior Optimist Club
The Junior Optimist Club of Farmington Hills is dedicated to inspiring young people to take an active role in their communities. Our mission is to provide opportunities for personal growth, community service, and leadership development. Join us to make a positive impact and build a brighter future.
A Unique History
Junior Optimist International was created to enable youth to provide service in their communities. The vision was to become the most prominent youth service organization in the world. Junior Optimist reached the international level in 1989 and has continued to grow to over 15,000 Members in over 500 Clubs. The numbers are still rising thanks to youth, who want to make a difference in their community.
Local Clubs
Currently we have clubs in the Farmington Public Schools at elementary, middle and high schools. Check the calendar for a list of the events.
