Our History
The Farmington Hills Optimist Club was founded in 1985 with a mission to bring out the best in youth, our communities, and ourselves. We are part of Optimist International, an organization dedicated to promoting optimism as a way of life. Over the years, we have initiated numerous programs aimed at youth development, community service, and personal growth. Our values include integrity, community, and optimism. We take pride in our achievements, such as the annual Youth Appreciation Week and the Optimist Essay Contest, which have positively impacted countless lives.
